I apologize for the run-around.  I did fix a bug in the morning
before you sent your email, but I missed another one,
and that was the one causing the yacc crash.

I believe that CVS should be buildable everywhere now.
Please try cvs up -dAP in the root and then ./INSTALL once
again.
