The last entry I have in my (previously totally lost) 9fans mail folder 
dates to January 16th, 1998.

This is an attempt at establishing why it stopped, so please will some
one (David Butler? your developments apropos ethernet.c and the DPT 
controller were most intriguing), reply to me around 24hrs from now 
unless I post here an anncouncement that the list has been resurrected?

I'm not sure what I'll do if I get no response whatsoever.
