Subject: Exception 14 when booting floppies
Date: Mon, 2 Oct 1995 19:59:53 -0400
i think you have the adaptec configured for irq14, which plan9
expects only to be used by the ide/ata discs. the quick fix is to
change the irq on the adaptec to something else (i usually use 11).
the alternative is to wait and see if i ever get all the fixes
finished and a new set of floppies generated.

I'm trying to boot the first floppy on a 486/DX2-66. This system is SCSI-only,
using the Adaptec 1542 (C, I think). Boot up says:
scsi0: cap 843284, sec 512
Boot devices: fd!0
boot from...
found 9DOS...
...
start 0x80100020
exception/interrupt 14
halted
Any leads? Thanks.
