If you look on your new shiny Win95 there's a file 'MSDOS.SYS' which holds
some configuration stuff, one line of which is something like
	BootGUI=1
change the 1 to 0 and you boot up stright into DOS mode. The file has attributes
system+read-only+hidden so you have to turn those off under DOS before you can
change it.

I am pleased to note that installing Win95 did not overwrite my Plan
9 partition. Evidently it holds Plan 9 in higher regard than Linux.
b.com will also run, but only as a 'real' MSDOS program.
Unfortunately, since Win95 takes a couple of minutes to boot, this is
a slow way to get to Plan 9!
